Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 to 2 pounds of ground beef
  • 10.5 oz can cream of condensed mushroom soup
  • 10.5 oz can of cheddar cream soup
  • 3 cups diced frozen potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (set aside)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cook ground beef, remove fat, and place in a large mixing bowl. Place the cream of mushroom soup and the cheddar cheese soup in a bowl.
  3. Place frozen diced potatoes in a bowl.
  4. Add 1/2 cup chopped cheddar cheese to the bowl.
  5. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and mix everything.
  6. Pour into a greased 9-inch x 13-inch casserole dish and top with remaining shredded cheddar cheese. Cover with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then carefully remove the aluminum foil. Bake for another 30 minutes.
