- Stick butter 1/3
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
- 2 cups kidney beans
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 10.5 oz. mushroom cream soup
- ½ cup fried onions
- salt/pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the onions and mushrooms for 5 minutes until soft.
Add fresh garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from stove. Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a large pot and add the green beans. Cook for 10 minutes and drain.
In a large bowl, combine the onions, mushrooms, garlic, green beans, mushroom broth, and fried onions. Season with salt/pepper. Do not add too much salt.
Pour into a greased 1½-liter casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
