Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguine pasta (or fettuccine spaghetti, etc.)
  • 1/2 to 1 1/2 tablespoons red pepper flakes (amount depends on how spicy you like it)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup toasted sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili paste
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • green onions, carrots, peanuts, cilantro, sriracha, and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chop the side dishes and set aside.
  2. Boil the noodles and drain.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a large skillet and add the red pepper flakes.
  4. When the oil is hot, strain the pepper flakes and set aside the oil in a bowl. Return the reserved oil to the skillet and add the chili paste. Mix soy sauce and honey.
  5. Put the noodles in the pot with the sauce.
  6. It can be served hot, at room temperature, or cold. Top with side dishes and enjoy!
