Pepperoni Pizza Egg Rolls

Pepperoni pizza egg rolls are the perfect party appetizer or after-school snack.

Crispy, crunchy, chewy, melt-in-your-mouth pepperoni rolls just like the ones you grew up with!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces hot pepper, chopped [thick cuts are great for replicating these delicious diced hot peppers]
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce (recipe)
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 24 spring roll wrappers
  • vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine mozzarella, pepperoni, marinara sauce, crushed red pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of each spring roll casing, brush the edges of the spring rolls with water, fold the sides in and roll them up.
  3. Add 3 inches of vegetable oil to a Dutch oven, heat the thermometer to 375 degrees, and fry the spring rolls for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown.
