Easy Best Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 4-5 overripe bananas - 1.5 cups mashed
  • 1/2 cup melted salted butter*
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla essence
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until blended. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar. When combined, stir until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, and cinnamon and stir until smooth and uniform.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared bread pan.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and only a few moist crumbs are visible when a toothpick or cake tester is inserted into the center of the pan. Cool in a wire rack baking tin for 15 minutes.
  7. If necessary, use a butter knife to loosen the sides of the bread from the bread.
  8. Remove bread to a wire rack and cool completely.
