Easy Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles

This easy Mongolian mince noodle recipe is ready in 15 minutes and is one of the tastiest meals you'll make this year.

This Mongolian ground beef recipe was created to clean up the pantry after the holidays. Little did I know it would quickly become a family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 4 teaspoons minced ginger
  • 6 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup low-salt soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Seafood sauce 6 tbsp
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 12 oz box of linguine pasta
  • 4 green onions, diced for garnish
  • roasted sesame seeds for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a medium-high skillet, saute ground beef with ginger and garlic until meat is tender. Use the back of a wooden spoon to loosen the meat well. Drain fat and return pan to stove.
  2. While the ground beef is cooking, prepare a pot of water for the pasta. Salt the water well so that your pasta absorbs its flavor.
  3. Combine the remaining ingredients - soy sauce, brown beef stock sugar, red pepper flakes, pepper, and hoisin sauce in a small bowl and pour over the ground beef mixture.
  4. Cook in a frying pan for about 3 minutes so that the ground beef soaks in the flavor. Once the noodles are done cooking, add them to the ground beef mixture. Mix well and simmer for a few more minutes to thicken the sauce.
  5. Top with green onions and sesame seeds for a perfect pasta dish!
