  • 2 thick pork chop bones about 1 inch thick
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • chopped fresh parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in an ovenable skillet (I use cast iron) over medium-high heat. Grill the pork chops for 3 minutes on each side. take it out and keep it
  2. Reduce the heat to the same frying pan, add the butter, garlic, brown sugar, and red pepper, mix well, and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them with the sauce.
  3. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145F.
  4. Remove pork chops and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve!
